SRI LANKA: NINE SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER

nine people received the death penalty from two courts in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. According to sources, Matara High Courts found five people guilty of killing a person. Balapitiya High Courts sentenced another 4 to death for the same offense.
