SRI LANKA: NO DECISION TO IMPOSE DEATH PENALTY

Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of Justice and Law Reforms V. Puthrasigamoney said the government still had decided to impose capital punishment. “We have to take religious and social beliefs into consideration before imposing capital punishment,” Deputy Minister added.
