The acting chief of Indonesia's National Drugs Agency, Togar Sianipar, said that 20 foreign and local drug traffickers had been sentenced to death in recent years but none has been executed.
Among the 20 are five Nepalese, four Nigerians and two Thais, Kompas daily newspaper said.
The group also includes an Angolan, a Pakistani, a Zimbabwean, five Indonesians and a Dutch national of Chinese-Indonesian ancestry, the newspaper said.
Indonesian courts have increasingly been handing out severe sentences, including death, for drug smugglers.
