The Appeals Chamber confirmed the sentence against Omar Serushago. On 14 December 1998, the accused had pleaded guilty to four counts of genocide and other crimes against humanity. On 5 February 1999, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for all the crimes of which he was found guilty.
