The Constantine criminal court handed down six death sentences in absentia for the members of a terrorist group responsible for approximately 15 assassinations, racketeering, sabotage and destruction of public property, reported Le Matin web site. Moussa M., Abdelkrim S., Abdelaziz B., Tarek B., Faycal M., and Adel K. had joined the ranks of the Armed Islamic Group [GIA] in 1995, the report said.
