The death sentence of Charles Eddie Hartman, convicted in 1983 of kidnapping and murdering a 16-year-old girl, Kathy Nishiyama on Nov. 16, 1981, was thrown out for the 2nd time by the state Supreme Court . Charles Eddie Hartman will get a 3rd sentencing hearing, this time because the trial court didn't allow him "to present evidence relevant to establish residual doubt as a mitigating circumstance."
