The Federal Court dismissed an appeal by a former soldier against the death sentence for drug trafficking. Aidil Maarof, 29, of Johor, was sentenced to the gallows by the High Court on July 27, 1992, after he was found guilty of trafficking in 727.7gm of cannabis on February 24 1990.
