The head of the Interior Ministry's Centre for the Participation of Women announced that the most important human rights issues concerning women were that of unequal blood money and the practice of stoning to death adulteresses. "In view of the developments that have taken shape in respect of giving the same blood money rights to religious minorities as those given to Muslims, we hope that the same may be applied in the case of blood money given to women, which is not equal to men's," Ms Molavardi said.
