1 MIN READ
The heads of thirteen EU countries represented in Kenya asked the Government to abolish the death penalty. The EU Heads of Mission said that sending people to the gallows was a gross violation of human rights at variance with modern civilisation and, therefore, unacceptable. The heads said that all their countries had abolished the death penalty and that they were vigorously crusading for the same in all countries of the world. "The EU Heads of Mission in Nairobi renew their request to the Government of Kenya for early abolition of death penalty," they added.
