Gauteng IFP spokesman Dlangezwa Mvelase said Sipho Gabela, 49, who was leader of the Mzimhlope branch in Soweto was shot dead by two gunmen at Zone 11 hostel.
He called on police to quickly arrest the culprits and the government to protect the country's citizens.
