The Jordan Times reported that a 23-year-old woman was sentenced to death by the Criminal Court after being convicted of the March 2002 murder of her sister-in-law in the Zarqa Governorate. The tribunal declared "R. A." guilty of the premeditated murder of her 36-year-old sister-in-law at her home in Ruseifa on March 1.
