The Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People's Court sentenced to death Liu Chuanguo and fined him 40,000 yuan for organizing a prostitution racket. The court said that between April 1999 and June 2000, Liu cheated and raped eight women from other provinces and forced them into prostitution.
