The Sialkot Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Sarwar Sidhu awarded a death sentence each with a fine of Rs. 50,000 to two brothers, Imran and Irfan Hayat, for killing landlord Muhammad Yaseen, a landlord, on August 19, 2002. In another murder case, the same court also awarded a death sentence with a fine of Rs. 50,000 to "Shehbaz for killing Asghar in Naikapura, Sialkot city," no further details were given.
