The Thai Criminal Court sentenced a former Bangkok's Sam Sen policeman to death for having Yaba in possession with intention to sell. Former Police Senior Sergeant Major Pairoj Wongsrikaew, who was arrested last January while driving a car with 120,000 Yaba tablets hidden in modified compartments in Phetchburi’s Ban Lad district, was found guilty and given the death sentence, as his claim of being hired at Bt200,000 to drive the car to someone in Nakhon Si Thammarat without knowing the car had drugs wasn’t convincing.
