The Yangcheng Evening News reported that Shaoguan Intermediate People's Court, in Guangdong Province, sentenced Xiao Zhuoming to death. From January 1996 to May 2000, Xiao, a private decoration worker, allegedly bought blank value-added invoices and issued copies of false invoices for Pan worth 197m yuan, evading 28.65m yuan in taxes, the paper said.
