Yao Xiaohong, the Chinese reporter who exposed the unauthorised removal of organs from executed prisoners by Chinese authorities, was sacked again for damaging interests of senior officials, the Hong Kong Information Centre for Human Rights and Democracy said.
Yao became a reporter for the News Weekly [Xinwen Zhoukan] after his previous dismissal from Jiangxi's City Consumer Daily in June. He was fired after repeated instructions from the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department.
Over the past few months, the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department sent various letters to the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department and Yangcheng Wanbao, Yao's employer, saying that Yao Xiaohong had committed serious political mistakes.
