Tran Thi My Ha, a woman, was executed by a firing squad in Vietnam on charges of circulating counterfeit money. Ha, 31, faced the firing squad at dawn at the Tan Xuan ground in central Quang Nam province.
She had been sentenced to death in 2003 by the provincial People's Court after being convicted of circulating 1.4 billion dong (90,800 dollars) in the central and southern regions between 2000 and her arrest in May 2002.
