[Turkish] Justice Minister Hikmet Sami Turk said that the "annulment of capital punishment is an obligatory condition for whole EU countries. Therefore, Turkey will lift death sentence one day. We should provide reconciliation among all political parties at the parliament. The new penal code commutes capital punishment to life imprisonment."
