Two members of a drug gang were sentenced to death by the Criminal Court for possessing 190,000 speed pills with intent to sell. Yongkui sae Jiew, 40, and Kiatisak sae Jiang, 20, colluded with five others, who are still at large, in the trafficking of methamphetamines. They were arrested in Chiang Dao district, Chiang Mai, on Sept 29, 1998 as they were about to hand the pills to a police officer posing as a drug buyer.
