the Court of Appeal upheld the decisions of lower courts in western Uganda that sentenced two men to death for aggravated robbery. Judge P. K Mugamba of the Mbarara High Court found Ibrahim Ruhweza guilty of aggravated robbery in November 2001 at Kamwenge, and Justice Lameck Mukasa of the Fort Portal High Court found Moses Kamukama guilty in March 1999 of a robbery in Bushenyi.
