UGANDA: LUWERO MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH

the Ugandan High Court in Luwero sentenced a 38-year-old man to death for killing his neighbour’s wife. Judge Benjamin Kabiito heard that Robert Nkonge, a resident of Namasujju village in Nakaseke district, cut the woman’s throat with a machete. Nkonge’s 13 year old son told the court that he saw his father and a herdsman killing Teopista Jagwe and hiding the body in a bush.
