UGANDA: MAN TO HANG FOR KILLING MOTHER

the Ugandan Court of Appeal sentenced Francis Murungi to death for murdering his mother Edrayi Kenyegano in Bushenyi on February 7, 2000, using a machete. A panel of three judges led by Justice Mpangi Bahigeine upheld the High Court decision and rejected his claim of manslaughter.
