UN Human Rights Committee concludes seventy-fifth session and adopting final conclusions and recommendations, among positive developments in the third periodic report of Yemen, the Committee noted some human rights initiatives undertaken by the State party in recent years. The Committee recommended that the State party should review the question of the death penalty; that appropriate measures be taken to put an end to the practice of amputation and flagellation; and that all allegations of human rights abuses were investigated.
