A Mobile County jury has recommended 11-1 the death penalty for Heather Keaton, 26, White. Keaton is the woman accused of using anti-freeze to poison the two young children, Chase and Natalie, ages 4 and 3, respectively, of her husband John DeBlase. In the fall of 2014 John DeBlase was convicted on similar charges for his childrens' deaths and sentenced to the death penalty. Keaton was convicted last Wednesday of capital murder in the death of Jonathan "Chase" Deblase, and manslaughter in the death of Natalie Deblase. Judge Roderick Stout's sentencing is scheduled for August 20.
