The Arkansas Supreme Court has issued a ruling ordering the Arkansas Department of Corrections (ADC) to disclose the pharmaceutical package inserts and labels for the supply of midazolam that it purchased to carry out executions in the state, which will allow the public to identify the manufacturer of the drug. The ruling directs ADC to redact from the labels the lot and batch numbers, which could then have led to the identification of the companies that sold and supplied the drugs to ADC.
