Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Wesley sentenced Jonathan Fajardo, 23, latino, a gang member, to death for the murder of a 14-year-old black girl and the stabbing death of a potential witness 2 weeks later. Jurors recommended in September that Fajardo be sent to San Quentin's death row for the Dec. 15, 2006, shooting death of Cheryl Green and the stabbing death of Christopher Ash.
