USA - Florida. A jury recommended the death penalty for John Lee, 49, white

A Sarasota County jury recommended 9-3 the death penalty for John Lee, 49, white, after convicting him last week for the murders of his girlfriend and a neighbor. Traci Nabergall, 39, and Jason Salter, 46, were found stabbed to death in Salter's home on January 24, 2011, just days after Lee was released from jail for allegedly battering both at the same house. In a month, a judge will decide whether to take the jury's recommendation or sentence Lee to life in prison.
