USA - Florida. A jury recommended the death penalty for Marvin Cannon, 33, black

A Gadsden County jury recommended the death penalty for Marvin Cannon, 33, black, the man convicted of armed robbery and 1st degree murder in the December 24, 2010 death of Zack Morgan, 58. The vote was 9-3 in favor of the death penalty. Judge Jonathan Sjostrom, who presided over the trial, will make the final decision on penalty. A hearing on the matter is set for Nov. 2.
