USA - Florida. A jury sentenced Johnny Mack Sketo Calhoun, 34, white, to death

A Holmes County jury recommended 9-3 that Johnny Mack Sketo Calhoun, 34, white, be executed for the 1st-degree murder of Mia Brown, 24, white. Calhoun kidnapped Mia Brown the night of Dec. 16, 2010, bound her with duct tape, put her into the trunk of her car and on Dec. 17, 2010, he set the car on fire, burning her alive. Fourteenth Judicial Circuit Judge Christopher Patterson has not set a sentencing date.
