Circuit Judge David Eddy upheld the June 3 (see) jury recommendation, and sentenced William Kopsho to death. Kopsho, 55, white, confessed he shot his 21-year-old estranged wife, Lynn Ann Kopsho on October 27, 2000. In April 2005, the same judge sentenced Kopsho to death in a decision that was reversed by the Florida Supreme Court 2 years later (see May 24, 2007) due to a technical error that occurred during jury selection.
