USA - Florida. Judge George Maxwel sentenced Margaret Allen, 45, black, to death

Circuit Judge George Maxwel sentenced Margaret Allen, 45, black, to death, following a Sept. 23, 2010 jury’s recommendation. The woman was found guilty last September of killing and torturing Wenda Wright in 2005 after a quarrel. She acted along with Quinton Allen, her nephew. Quinton testified against his aunt and through a plea deal will serve 15 years behind bars. Allen becomes the 3rd woman on Florida’s death row.
