Judge Sherwood Bauer sentenced Michael Woodbury to death. The judge has agreed with an Okeechobee County jury that previously decided that Woodbury, who recently pleaded guilty to murdering a fellow inmate in a Florida prison deserves the death penalty. He killed a fellow Florida inmate last year while serving three life sentences without parole for as many murders he committed in 2007. Woodbury, 42, White, pleaded guilty May 21 to 1st-degree premeditated murder in the beating death with a padlock of fellow inmate Antoneeze Haynes on Sept. 22, 2017, at Okeechobee Correctional Institution.
