The Florida Supreme Court reversed 4-1 the conviction and death sentence of Andrew Gosciminski. He had been found guilty of 1st-degree murder, robbery and burglary in the Sept. 24, 2002, killing of Joan Loughman, 55. The justices ruled Gosciminski didn't get a fair trial because the state relied on hearsay testimony and presented no physical evidence. (see also 29/04/2005 and 07/06/2005)
