USA - Louisiana. Judge Scott Cricthon sentenced Eric Mickelson, 42, white, to death

Caddo District Judge Scott Cricthon confirmed the jury's decision and sentenced Eric Mickelson, 42, white, to death by lethal injection. Mickelson was convicted last week of first degree murder for killing Charles Martin, 86, in 2007. Mickelson also confessed to killing Kristi O'Pry in 1996, although a body was never found and no charges were brought against him.
