A Clay County jury recommended the sentence for Robert Blurton, 47, White. The same jury convicted Blurton late Friday of 1st-degree murder for shooting his aunt and uncle, Donnie and Sharon Luetjen, and their granddaughter, Taron Luetjen, 15. The killings took place on June 7, 2009. Investigators said Blurton killed the 3 after a robbery. Sentencing by Clay County Circuit Judge Larry D. Harman is scheduled for August 9, 2013.
