USA - Tennessee. A jury sentenced Sedrick Clayton to death

A Shelby County jury sentenced Sedrick Clayton, 31, Black, to death for murdering his girlfriend and her parents. Clayton was convicted in the deaths of 23-year-old Pashea Fisher and her parents during an argument on Jan. 19, 2012. Before the trial, he offered to plead guilty in return for serving three consecutive life sentences. Shelby County District Attorney Amy Weirich rejected the offer.
