Execution By Firing Squad Goes To The House Floor. The House Judiciary Committee voted 5 to 4 to recommend bill SF 13 that would allow executions by firing squad in the state. The Department of Corrections says acquiring the drugs to provide lethal injections has become more and more difficult. Lawmakers says they need to find another option in case someone ends up on death row. The bill heads to the House floor.
