Wuhan Municipal Intermediate People's Court, Hubei Province, sentenced to death Hu Shan, director of the post office customs unit, and sentenced to death with a reprieve Xu Guoyan , chief of the financial section of Wuhan customs. Hu and Xu illegally obtained 3.2m yuan in public funds and accepted 2.2m yuan in bribes, the Hubei Daily said. Xu also reportedly embezzled two million yuan in public funds.
