YEMEN. TWO MEN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR KILLING POLICEMEN
the Sanaa primary court, Yemen, sentenced to death two men for killing five policemen and also imposed a fine of ten million Yemeni rials on them to be paid to the Ministry of the Interior as compensation for damaging a military vehicle.

The convicts were also accused of forming a gang to steal cars. It was reported that the five policemen and an unspecified number of gang members were killed in 2004 during a police attempt to arrest them in Sanaa city.
