a convict charged with the murder of a fellow college student was hanged in Jhang District Jail, Pakistan. It was alleged that on 2 March 1993, Muhammad Jamil, student of Government College in Jhang, killed a fellow student with a knife over a minor dispute. The death sentence was awarded by a district and sessions judge in June 1994.
