A court in Bangladesh condemned an 18-year-old man to death for raping and killing an eight-year-old girl.
Sumon confessed to the murder of Hazera, committed on January 15, 2002.
According to the prosecution, Sumon raped the girl in an abandoned house and later strangulated her in Kunzerhat village in Borhanuddin upazila.
