a man sentenced to death for killing a 13-year-old Tulsa boy and then dismembering his body won a new sentencing trial from the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. Wayne Henry Garrison was convicted in 2001 of 2st-degree murder and sentenced to death for the 1989 slaying of Justin Wiles, 13. In ordering a new sentencing trial, the Court said Garrison likely was denied effective assistance of trial counsel with respect to presentation of his second-stage case in mitigation of the sentence.
