A seminar analysing the investigations of the International Criminal Court (ICC) into the conflict in northern Uganda, heard that LRA rebel leader, Joseph Kony and his allies would never be given a death sentence. Conflict consultant and advocate, Mr Barney Afako, told discussants at Lira Hotel that the ICC did not impose the death penalty, but sentences of up to life imprisonment.
