A Zambian High Court sentenced Felix Mulela, a Christian church pastor, and his wife, Sharon Mulela, to death by hanging after finding them guilty of killing their domestic worker, Sara Soko, in 2000.
Mulela, who headed a charismatic Pentecostal church, reported to the police in 2000 that their worker had disappeared after stealing their household goods.
A post mortem of Soko's body, which was later discovered in a bush near the Mulela's house, showed that she had been killed in the house.
