BANGLADESH. MAN TO GO GALLOWS FOR MURDER

Kudrat Ullah, 25, and his accomplice Mohammad Yahya, 30, were sentenced to death by a District and Sessions court in Sylhet, Bangladesh, for the murder of a neighbour in a dispute in Sripur in 2003.   According to the prosecution, the convicts attacked Sharifuddin with weapons during a brawl over repayment of money.
