BANGLADESH. SIX PEOPLE SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER

it was reported that six “underground terrorists”, Khalilur Rahman alias Kazal, Zakir Hossain, Asaduzzaman Mintu, Badiuzzaman Litu, Hafizur Rahman and Masud Hossain were sentenced to death, the latter three in absentia, by a court in Bagerhat, for the murder of Farhad Hossain, an industrialist and Awami League leader. According to the prosecution, the accused shot dead Farhad Hossain in front of his home in Kathaltola at noon on October 16, 2001.
