BANGLADESH. THREE PEOPLE SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER
Mohammad Kaosar, 50, his wife Rasheda Begum, 40, and his brother Manik Miah, 35, were condemned to death by a speedy trial tribunal in Chittagong, after they were convicted of murder.

According to the prosecution, Kamaluddin, came to Kaosar to ask for repayment of Tk 1.5 lakh on November 16, 2003. Instead of repaying the money Kaosar and his family members started a quarrel with him. At one point they cornered Kamaluddin in a room and beat him to death.
