BANGLADESH: THREE TO DIE, ONE TO SPEND LIFE IN PRISON FOR MURDERING STUDENT IN GAZIPUR

A court in Gazipur awarded death sentences to three men and life in prison to a woman for abducting and murdering a university student.
The district and sessions judge court delivered the verdict in the 2013 killing with the convicts on the dock.
The death row convicts are Md Rezaul Karim, Md Jamal Uddin, and Md Shahabuddin. The trio has been also fined by Tk 20,000 each, reports bdnews24.com
The other convict, who got life in prison, is Karim's wife Sanzida Akter Lipi. She has been slapped with a Tk 10,000.
