District and Sessions Judge Bhobani Proshad Sinha handed down the death sentence to Angur and Dhonu Miah of Maizpara village in Kuliarchar.
The court sentenced Kazal and Fazlu of the same village to life imprisonment. Of them, Kazal was tried in absentia. According to the prosecution, the accused hacked co-villager Mojibur Rahman to death on January 26, 2000 following a longstanding conflict.
