BANGLADESH. TWO SENTENCED TO DEATH IN NAOGAON

a court sentenced two brothers to death in a murder case in Bangladesh. The condemned convicts were identified as Bazlur Rahman alias Bhoga and his brother Borhanuddin of Panchupur village in Atrai upazila of Naogaon. The court also fined them Tk 10,000 each. According to the prosecution, the convicts chopped brothers Ashraf Ali Babu, Moazzam Hossain and Azam Ali, at Panchupur village on April 4, 1998. Moazzam Hossain died at Atrai Upazila Health Complex on the following day.
